We are currently seeking a Environmental Engineer, reporting directly to HSED Section Head to join our Process team based in Rome, Italy.About the JobWe are searching and Environmental Engineer that will join our HSE Design Department within the Process Division. She/He will be in charge of Project Environmental design activities, with responsibility at project level and direct interface with project stakeholders. Project environmental design activities include:
- Project Environmental Philosophy: identifying and evaluating environmental regulations and standards related to the design of the plant
- ENVID: Evaluating consistency of project design with customer environmental objectives and contractual requirements.
- ESAP: support and follow-up to project environmental permit and/or financial Corporations requests.
- ESIA: defining scope of work for purchase requisitions of Environmental Studies (EIA, Air Dispersion Study, Noise) managing all technical and commercial aspects form inquiry to development and follow-up of subcontracted activities.
- Environmental studies: preparing technical deliverables (emission inventories, Env Critical Element Performance, Noise Allocation, Waste management plan, GHG quantification)

- Qualifications: Master Degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering
- Languages: English Fluent
- Background: knowledge of oil and gas operations, knowledge of environmental engineering techniques and solutions (pollution control and mitigation, treatment of effluents, waste management, atmospheric dispersion, noise propagation)
- Tools: Microsoft Office, noise predictive models, air dispersion models.
- Working Seniority: +5 years working experience in the discipline
- Main Skills: working in a multicultural environment; team spirit; goal oriented; strive for excellence; effective communication, presentation and writing skills; Problem-solving and analytical thinking; commercial awareness
