As a member of the ZEROe project, you will join a team of highly motivated and valuable people who are involved in aircraft concept exploration, technologies development, next generation industrial system and future hydrogen ecosystem preparation that will shape the development of our zero-emission aviation.
We are looking for a Metallic Structure Design Engineer (m/f) who can reinforce our project team by bringing your experience in the field of structure design as well as making the difference through proven interpersonal and collaboration skills.
You will be part of the Liquid Hydrogen Metallic Tank co-design team. Your role will be to follow up the design of an equipped tank demonstrators from a structure and from an Electrical/Mechanical System Installation (ESI/MSI) perspective. Tank demonstrators will be finally installed in a flying demonstrator.
Your Main Responsibilities
Coordinate contributions of several disciplines ( Material and Processes, certification, ESI, MSI, Structural Analysis, Thermal, Safety …) to support the design of equipped tank demonstrators
Make sure that tank design fulfill all requirements
Make sure that methods, tools, processes, design principles, that are used for tank design, sizing, … etc are compliant with or Airbus standards.
Deliver all dossiers of equipped tank necessary to feed the “permit to flight” from a structure discipline on Time / Cost / Quality.
Who We Are Looking For

You have an engineering degree or equivalent and in mechanical designing structures,
You’d like to work in a co-development mode with Airbus manufacturing and with Airbus suppliers or partners.
You have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in some aircraft components development (structure design, system installation, sizing, …) and ideally some knowledges on cryogenic fluid storage and management ( thermal management, insulation, cryogenic equipment …)
Knowledge of CATIA V5 /V6 or /And 3DX platform and Google environment
You are able to set up basic Project Management principles
You are a highly engaged person, able to work autonomously, with a great sense of initiative, credibility, integrity and the ability to manage confidential topics
You show strong relationship building, communication, interpersonal and networking skills
Your English is at negotiating level, additional language skills in French/German/Spanish are considered a plus
Some travels are required in France / Europe.
