System OPC Construction Site Coordination is responsible to ensure the coordination, between all Alstom‘ sub-systems, Customer (TI) and the Engineers(MOE-INFRA), to propose conflict resolutions for the site activities, to prepare and to schedule launch of works and measure the works progress and the conditions for the surveillance of the works as well as the implementation of progress monitoring of all items concerning the construction / installation activities and compare to planned durations and productivities (Kpi).

To prepare logistic and staging area organisation and mobilisation, including mainframe for main stocks part management of constructions activities (if possible under SAP environment)

Site Coordinator is directly coordinating with Alstom‘ sub-systems manager (that remain owner of the QCD commitments).

Within the OPC, he/she will be in charge of the following:

  • Organization of meetings on site with subsystems installation managers, the sub-contractors and CW entity to discuss interfaces, handover of areas, access and site installations
  • Ensuring most effective use of temporary staging areas (Plan d’Installation de Chantier), keeping update during the different phase of the project (COG, EXE and construction)
  • Ensuring fulfilment of HSE requirements and security during work on site
  • Adhering to Coordinated Installation Program (CIP) for E&M site installation activities
  • Monitoring and control of installation work progress sequence as scheduled in CIP to achieve project milestones
  • When required implementation of effective corrective measures, to remedy defects or delay, and validate concurrent activities performance if required between sub-systems a/o CW
  • Risk management applied to installation works
  • Ensures that each subsystem mobilizes its team and have all the required material, plants and tools in due time for work execution (4M implementation)
  • Attends, upon request, weekly meetings with Customer / Engineer / Operator (…) , to address any issues or interfaces and manage stakeholder requirements

In addition, supporting all sub-systems in the following activities during the development and works preparation phase :

  • Identification of administrative authorizations required for work execution and process to obtain these authorisations (if partner in charge of getting authorisation assists him in the process as required), as per works needs along the viaduct section
  • Assisting the sub-systems in preparation of administrative application forms to get the authorizations / No Objection Certificate
  • Monitoring administrative authorizations delivery and validity period (expiration date)
  • Implementing Permit To Work process (tunnel Works Train Management) up to transfer to T&C (temporary site operation team).
