Our diagnostics provide information you need, when you need it, so you and your doctor can make better decisions. Abbott has pioneered innovative ways to screen, diagnose and monitor a vast range of health conditions with speed, accuracy and efficiency across core laboratory, molecular and point-of-care diagnostics. We are focused on making many kinds of testing and digital solutions accessible to more people in more places — for many of the world’s most pressing health challengesAs the Technical Service Specialist you’ll be responsible for performing planned maintenance activities, hardware and software upgrades (TSBs) and for back up first line level one service and assisting with installations and deinstallationsWhat You’ll DoProvide first line service to Abbott Ambassadors (service interventions requiring less than 4 hours labor time)Schedule and perform planned maintenance (PM) activitiesAssist with instrument installations and deinstallationsSuccess in this role is measured by customer satisfaction score (NPS), service key performance indicators achievement and economic growth and profitability per district.Required QualificationsBachelors degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelors / Engineering degree in medical / electrical / mechanical or medical technology is preferred.Driving licenseBackgroundProven track record in a similar position supported by management and customer references.
