Tasks
You are responsible for the administration of the IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, switches and Wi-Fi
You manage virtualization software such as Proxmox
Network monitoring, router configuration
Assemble, repair and maintain barebone servers on our premise
You are in charge of selecting and procuring IT equipment and software
You are responsible for IT inventory managemenT
You administer Linux servers (OpenSUSE, Ubuntu, Debian)
Setting up Windows devices is also within your scope of work
You take care of first and second level client support
You document IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
Plan, deploy and administer the backup system hardware and software
Planning and construction of the network structure
Profile
You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
You have completed professional education as an IT Administrator
You possess knowledge in the areas of system and application security as well as networking principles
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems and office software
Enthusiasm for the automotive industry and new technologies, strong analytical understanding and affinity for data and IT
Reliability, loyalty, motivation and structured way of working
Bilingual Environment: To foster effective communication and collaboration we need proficiency in spoken and written German as it’s essential for this role. However, we also work in a global context where English serves as a common language for certain interactions
