Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support & drive of a proper understanding auf Accounting + Financial processes associated with an adequate process documentation
  • Maintaining & expanding the quality standard for Accounting + Financial processes
  • Joint up thinking – between IT & Finance Tasks and Duties
  • Implementation of accounting & finance process optimizations that are initiated by Group & are to be implemented at local level
  • Ensuring that the functionalities of SAP R3 System and related sub systems are state of the art and ensure continuous automation + digitalisation of financial processes
  • Lead a number of finance transformation initiatives designed to enhance the quality and efficiency of key finance processes
  • Full understanding of accounting & finance processes, SAP Surface and the different interfaces to different systems and programs and tables
  • Support of the accounting team to improve the day to day accounting activities
  • People management of a own small Team

Your Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Controlling and/or Accounting related areas is required
  • 7+ years of professional experience in accounting & finance, preferably within the payment industry
  • Experience of leading a dynamic team is appreciated
  • Deep know-how in at least one of the following areas: e-commerce, e-business, payment services, banking
  • Fluent in German and English (Full proficency is mandatory)
  • Knowledge of SAP is required
  • Affinity to accounting & financial process design and optimization
  • Project management skills based on financial requirements
  • Proactive attitude, self-motivation
  • Excellent negotiation skills, a target- driven individual
  • Networking skills
  • Hands-on and international mindset
  • Thinking out of the box
  • Ability to see the underlying “big picture” intuitively
