Jayway is a creative tech consulting company based in Malmö. We work in small teams where we combine design, development and creativity to create digital products. We focus on running long term projects that deliver measurable business value for the clients we choose to work with. We incorporate ‘design thinking’ and ‘data thinking’ into everything we do.

Jayway is divided into small ‘studios’ of approximately 30 people who act as your ‘family’ in Jayway. This makes sure you are always seen and heard, and helps facilitate your growth and development. Being a part of a studio at Jayway gives you the benefits of working at a small company, while delivering high-quality products to some of the biggest companies in the world. Alongside their studio, everyone is also part of a ‘competence community’ within their specific area of expertise, as well as those they find interesting. This means that you are always able to discuss and review solutions, technical issues, and ideas with others from your competence area.

Job Description

As Digital Product Designer, you have experience and extensive knowledge of driving the creative development of digital products throughout the product life cycle: from conception to reaching maturity.

You cultivate trust and confidence with your team towards your client and stakeholders and are comfortable navigating uncertainty. You are an advocate for human-centered design, continuously discovering and exploring possibilities to deliver long-term value to our clients.

Together with the Product Owner, you establish a product vision and roadmap taking into account user needs, business goals and technical limitations. You will work in a lean, multi-disciplinary team, usually seated at our own offices.

Your typical work will contain:

Communicate design decisions to client, stakeholders and team

Collaborate closely with developer

Question assumptions and challenge the status quo

Perform user research

Lead daily design work

+2 years experience

Have a Portfolio

Valid Swedish work permit

Ability to work in Malmö

Remote for now, following the recommendations from the authorities

Full Professional Proficiency in English

Scandinavian Languages are a plus
