We are currently looking for a Product Planning Specialist in Milan.

The Product Planning Specialist, reporting to the Product Planning Senior Manager, will take care of the following tasks:

  • New products launch, contributing to the development of the new Launch Plan, and cooperating with their manager to ensure the cross-functional implementation of the plan;
  • Responsible to manage in-life product performance, as well as the product improvement life cycle, from strategic planning to tactical activities;
  • Collection and analysis of the information coming from HQ and internal processes related to the assigned products and for the definition of product configuration;
  • Management of leverages results coming from research and analytics to determine new opportunities for improvement by analyzing industry trends, identifying gaps, and proposing ideas on actions to address those gaps;
  • Support in pricing policy, in terms of price list adjusted (VA) and Promo (TA), collecting and analyzing data on costs and competitive scenario. Assessment of profitability and issuance of price lists;
  • Product positioning, differentiating Kia products in the market by line-up and pricing strategy, according to competitiveness analysis and customer expectations;
  • Advertising, focusing on model USP and to create coherent message for customers, supporting the production of communication assets;
  • Ordering process, ensuring orders are managed in coherence with line-up strategy and economics results;
  • Creation of special action model linked to different line-up.

The ideal candidate is passionate about cars, analytic, precise and proactive with an enquiring attitude, and shows a desire to improve the status quo with a positive “can do” attitude and enthusiasm for the automotive market. Strongly goal-oriented, s/he has team working, communication, public speaking, reliability and organizational skills with good negotiation ability.

Requirements:

2/4 years of relevant experience

Education:

University degree, preferably Economics, or Engineering

Skills:

  • English: fluent, spoken and written
  • Italian: good knowledge, spoken and written
  • Good numbers literacy and understanding
  • MS-office proficient

The position will be based in Milan and we offer a permanent contract. Contractual placement will be commensurate with the candidate’s proven experience and seniority.
