Pennylane has a huge growth and lot’s of internal subjects such as billing / invoicing, CRM topics for example needs coordination & resources so that we can boost the productivity of our teams.

You role will be crucial for optimizing internal tools, processes & operations and contribute to the overall success and growth of the company. You’ll directly impact how efficiently and effectively our operations teams collaborate on a daily basis and boost our productivity.

How you will contribute to the company as an Internal Tooling PM ?

You’ll join an existing internal tooling squad composed of an existing senior PM (Grégoire) and a few software engineers. Your role would involve developing and managing tools and systems that help streamline operations, improve efficiency, and enhance productivity within Pennylane.

What you can expect from your life at Pennylane ?

Within one month

– You’ll learn everything about our company, our teams, and our vision during the first onboarding week

– You’ll familiarize yourself with the product and the accounting industry (You will have access to a lot of documentation and will assist to trainings organized by your peers)

– You’ll get a very deep knowledge of our Product & Ops organization, methods, and culture

Within 3 months

– You’ll have imagined and implemented your first solutions, hand-in-hand with your team & in coordination with other teams

– You’ll have impacted positively at least one OKR

– You will have setup your continuous internal discovery routine and will be ready to build your roadmap

Within 6 months

– You’ll be autonomous at defining your OKRs and your roadmap

– You’ll keep having a strong impact via iterations on the solutions you’ve shipped

– You’ll share your learnings and best practices within the team

And beyond : The product team continue to grow, which means you’ll have ⏬

– Increased responsibilities in project leadership

– Responsibilities to think of and implement new processes, tools and best practices to make sure that your team works even smoother

Who are we looking for ? 🎯

– Experience in internal tooling / tools departments (ideally in a larger scale-up)

– Product, “Business Ops” experience working on internal subjects/process (billing, invoicing…) to boost/optimize the productivity of different teams

– Good knowledge of the tooling ecosystem (CRM…)

– Doer (Hands-On) & Problem-Solving Mindset

– Product-Centric Vision & User-First Mindset applied for internal teams

– Fluent in English and ideally based in Paris

What does our recruitment process looks like ?

– You will first have a general chat with Thomas (Recruiter) : 30 min

– You’ll then have a deeper discussion with Tancrède (CPO) : 30-45 min

– Business Case with two interviewers : 1 Hour

– Last Round with one of our co-founders and member of the ELT (extended leadership team)

We make sure we move fast; you can expect the recruitment process with us to last between 15 and 25 days in total.
