Job Description: RINA is currently recruiting for a Process Engineer to join its office in Milan or Genoa, Italy within the Energy Engineering Solutions Division.MissionRina is looking for Process Engineer in the Oil&Gas and Energy sector. The successful candidate will work on multiple projects and his / her main interfaces will be colleagues both from the same team and from different departments, clients and suppliers, coordinating the discipline project team.Job Responsibilities
- Development of concept design and feasibility study relating to assets in the Energy sector
- Development of the typical documentation of process engineering, in the Basic, FEED and Detail design phase: o Process schemes such as PFDs, UFDs, P&IDs o Mass and energy balances o Lists of equipment, lines, fluids, instruments, etcs o Datasheet and/or duty spec of equipment and instruments o Calculation report of process system and utilities o Cause / effect matrix, logic diagrams, process narratives and operational philosophies
- Hydraulic sizing of the lines and of the main process equipment
- Process simulations, using specific software
- Development of dedicated calculation sheet
- Provide direct or indirect support to engineers or engineering teams by gathering data for permit applications, submitting documentation to officials and other day-today duties
- Prepare the project deliverables (technical reports, project performance documentations and engineering drawings, etc.)
- Prepare progress reports and present them to engineers and other personnel Be aware and understand the Quality Policy
- Ensure that all assigned activities are executed in accordance with the RINA QMS
- Be aware of the quality of his own work and its impact on service delivery and contribute to the QMS improvement according to his/her role
- Answer contractor questions on behalf of the supervising engineer and serve as liaisons between engineering and construction personnel. #LI-MP3
Requirements
- More than 2 years experience in process engineering
- Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad
- Fluency in English and Italian
