THE PROFESSIONAL WE ARE LOOKING FOR

CloudBlue is seeking an expert in Motion Graphics Design to join its Education Services team. Your focus will be on activating the hyper-growth of our LMS (Learning Management System) and learning courses. You bring together graphic and audiovisual design. You have passion for the cloud revolution. You are tasked with creating and supporting the creation of learning products focused on the visual perspective. You will be the visual advisor that will support our team members to drive the successful development, creation, and review of our education solutions.

You are an expert and an effective communicator who can articulate, construct, and visualize complex content, simply and elegantly. You’ll collaborate with the instructional design team, the trainers, and the LMS admin.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ROLE

+ You will create designs for ILT (Instructor Lead Training) presentations or eLearning courses.
+ You will be responsible for the development, design, and review of all the learning visuals.
+ You will support other design activities (visuals for LMS Campaigns, pathways, resources, workspaces, etc.)
+ You will handle quality design work – professional creative designs produced with knowledge of the company’s marketing requirements, corporate branding guidelines, and vendors‘ branding guidelines.
+ You will create “how-to” videos using editing tools such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, or Final Cut.
+ You will create a variety of short videos that you will need to produce, animate, film, and edit.
+ You will ensure that training programs are delivered to meet client expectations.
+ This is not a complete listing of the job duties. It’s a representation of the things you will be doing, and you may not perform all these duties.

HARD SKILLS YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Expertise in design for screen, design principles, presentation design, color theory and color relationships, typography, composition and layout, advertising.
  • Knowledge and experience in animation techniques (including typographic animation, illustration, and Motion Graphics)
  • Expertise in production techniques such as video editing, audiovisual creation, and photography (in this order).
  • Experience applying and expanding Brand Identity.
  • Experience with commercial firms (not just free-creative projects).
  • Skilled with Adobe Suite (mostly Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects).
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office suite for content creation (especially PowerPoint).
  • Skilled in electronic file production of final art for digital.
  • Knowledge in interaction design, UX/UI design.
  • Formal education or training in areas such as Motion Graphics, Graphic Design, Computer Graphics, Audiovisual Design, Visual Design, Interaction design, Multimedia, Advertising, or related field.
  • Previous work experience: 5+ years of professional motion design/graphic/video/ experience.
