Job description: Be the Avio Aero focal for the fluid system definition of CFM’s RISE supporting definition, performances evaluation and related validation plans.

Support the Preliminary Design studies of emerging engines architectures

Propose and Lead the technology development plan needed to support the programs needs, working within the Academic Research Network and in cooperation with major worldwide players.

It is expected to strongly interact with other Avio Aero sections, other ATO sub sections and RISE extended teams.

Be part of the Fluid-thermal communities within GE ad support the discipline area development.

Qualifications/Requirements

Master’s degree in Engineering. Mechanical, Materials or Aerospace Engineering preferred

Previous Experience in Fluid dynamic, Lube or Thermal area

Knowledge of basic fluid simulators and attitude to concept studies tools development.

Ability to work successfully in global team environment

Good communication skills

Fluency in Italian and English

EU work permit

Desired Characteristics

Experience on Lube systems design approaches and tools

Basic knowledge of adv. GBX structures and behavior

Knowledge and experience in CFD tools/numerical modelling

Neat and inquiring thinking.
