Tasks

Your territory

As part of our team, you will:

  • Work with an international, diverse, creative team and set up a modern brand-new office for 250 employees in 2022
  • Setup, extend and secure the IT office infrastructure (network, WiFi, printer, security appliances, video/meeting room equipment) of our new, modern office environment and warehouse
  • Be in charge of mobile device management for our internal iOS and Android test devices, as well as our employees‘ laptops (150+ employees)
  • Perform hardware-/software setups on client laptops (Windows, Mac)
  • Handle user management (technical onboarding/offboarding)
  • Configure and maintain on-premise access management for your team mates
  • Be 1st level support of our internal network and employees‘ devices (laptops, mobile phones)
  • Document how-tos in our internal knowledge base to enable self-service for frequent issues
  • Procure IT equipment and oversee license management
  • Setup, improve and maintain internal self-hosted developer tools like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket (optional)
  • Bring in your fresh ideas to make Tractive better – you’ll never hear the phrase “…because that’s how we’ve always done things”.
  • Continuously grow personally and professionally, take ownership of areas that show your potential, and attend workshops which help you get to the next level

Requirements

Your profile

Key requirements:

  • Problem-solving skills, independent and structured working methods
  • Completed technical education with a focus on IT (technical school, university/college)
  • Preferably 1-5 years of experience within this field
  • Experience in working with client hardware (laptops, printers, mobile devices)
  • Understanding of network technologies (LAN, WiFi, firewalls)
  • Basic know-how in Linux shells and scripting (optional)
  • Very good English skills
  • Valid Austrian work permit or current enrolment at an Austrian university/college

Just so you know what to expect: For this position, we offer a competitive overpayment based on qualifications and experiences. The annual gross salary starts at € 33,000 on a full-time basis. If you bring relevant experience in many of the fields of responsibility, the salary will be considerably higher.
