YOUR ROLE

As a Human Resources Generalist Intern at Mangabey, your mission will be to support the HR team in the execution of human resources projects. This includes learning, assisting, and contributing to various HR functions, such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and administrative tasks, with a focus on gaining practical experience, developing HR skills, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by helping to source candidates, screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and learn about the selection and hiring of employees
  • Participate in the onboarding process for new employees, helping them complete paperwork, understand company policies, and integrate into the organization
  • Gain experience in handling employee inquiries and concerns, conflict resolution, and assisting with employee engagement initiatives
  • Learn how to maintain employee records, handle documentation, and ensure compliance with HR regulations
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating employee training programs, workshops, and development initiatives
  • Gain insight into managing employee benefits, such as health insurance, meal vouchers, and other perks
  • Participate in HR projects, such as policy development, diversity and inclusion initiatives, or wellness programs
  • Learn how to collect, analyze, and present HR data to make data-driven decisions
  • Be open to feedback from HR supervisors and colleagues, and actively seek opportunities to improve HR skills and knowledge
  • Give feedback and collaborate on the creation of HR strategy

Requirements

  • You are currently enrolled in a Masters of Human Resources or another closely related field*
  • Fluent in English, good understanding of French is required (B1 at a minimum)
  • Good understanding of French employment law
  • Knowledge of international mobility and Visa procedures in France would be a plus
  • Great level of communication with stakeholders
  • Organization, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools

*An internship at Mangabey has the duration of 6 months. As such, you must be able to provide us with an Internship Agreement from the university in which you are enrolled.
