Essential Responsibilities

Conceptual or theoretical activities related to the branch of physics that studies the mechanics of fluids (liquids, gases, and plasmas) and the forces on them. Fluid mechanics can be divided into fluid statics, the study of fluids at rest; and fluid dynamics, the study of the effect of forces on fluid motion.

Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.

In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent. Provides informal guidance to new team members


Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited university

Proficiency in written and oral English

Previous proven working experience, preferably in engineering section

EU work permit

Design hydraulic actuation system, pneumatic actuation system, Valve and cooling systems for aerospace applications including, but not limited to, supporting the whole certification process

Develop and maintain the high-fidelity transient model of complex hydraulic or pneumatic actuation systems

Build and exercise computational models to drive architectural design decision of Engine Control System and Real Time simulator

Drive design, commissioning, and enhancement of Actuation System Test rigs

Recommend approach to meet the technical and program requirements and areas of potential improvement

Execute with limited guidance the analysis / evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product / program requirements

Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to problems

Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures

Lead or participate in organizational efforts in assigned projects and / or tasks

Participate as a presenter in technical and program reviews

Well trained in Control System, Thermo-dynamics, Computational Aero-dynamics, Mechanical Design and Fluid-dynamics

Equilibrium and Direct and Iterative Linear System Solver

Basic knowledge of Mathworks softwares (MATLAB/Simulink) and their tools

Competent with operative systems (MS Windows, Linux/UNIX)

Desired Characteristics

Knowledge of Thermal Managment System

Strong oral and written communication skills

Capability to interface with internal departments and to manage technical relationship with external companies, Suppliers and Customers.

Clear thinking, problem analysis and solving skills

Active Team working capabilities

Experience on Oil and Cooling System component (valves, filters, pipes, accessories, sensors, heat exchangers).
