Job description: Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements. This work would include mechanical and/or electrical engineering for all products

Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.

Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.

A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and AvioAero and/or GE. Explains technical information to others.

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering from an accredited University

Solid mechanical background

Proficiency in written and oral English

Previous proven working experience, preferably in engineering section

Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical disciplines

Knowledge of Mechanical design, capability to lead analysis

EU Work Permit

Knowledge of Office (Power Point, Word, Excel)

Knowledge of Fluid System Software skills (modeling, post processing/ results)

Knowledge of CAD (modeling and drafting)

Knowledge of FEM (meshing, post-processing/results)

Technical Presentation Skills (synthesis or details according to audience)

Knowledge of “Entry into Service” process from concept to production.

Knowledge of standard procedures and environmental test criteria for testing airborne equipment

Desired Characteristics

Strong oral and written communication skills

Capability to interface with internal departments and to manage technical relationship with external companies, Suppliers and Customers.

Clear thinking, problem analysis and solving skills

Active Team working capabilities

Knowledge of aviation component certification process

Experience on Oil and Cooling System component (valves, filters, pipes, accessories, sensors, heat exchangers).

NX, Ansys, Matlab, Simulink
