We work with clients ranging from small specialist companies to some of the biggest ones in the world. We’ve introduced agile methodologies at many of our clients, and of course practice what we preach.
If you are as excited as we are about tech, amazing user experiences, and building strong teams, we should get to know each other as soon as possible. We are looking for a project manager to help our development teams to build innovative digital products for our clients.
Jayway by Devoteam is spearheading the international Creative Tech branch of the Devoteam group. We deliver digital services to top performers in a multitude of industry domains. Many of our projects involve the entire innovation cycle – from user research and concept development to launching, maintaining, and scaling the product. As one of our project managers, you will collaborate with stakeholders in the client organization and lead activities to ensure that their business vision is translated into a solid product concept and prioritized to generate the most value. You will then work with the development team to make it come to life while simultaneously taking responsibility for the team’s well being and nurturing a collaborative and motivating work environment.
The digital project manager role can be complex, but we cannot imagine a better way to develop as a professional. Successful project managers at Jayway come in many shapes and forms, as do our engagements. Some are tech-heavy while others are more business or design oriented. We always try to match the right person with the right project.
Hands-on experience leading complex digital projects from concept to launch, creating project plans, roadmaps, backlogs and continuously communicating those to the team, client and external stakeholders.
Ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
Exceptional communication skills both orally and in writing.
Improving our agile processes together with the team is second nature to you, while simultaneously serving as the spokesperson for our ways of working towards the client.
Strong soft skills and ability to coach and lead through influence.
An empathetic yet pragmatic leader who easily builds relations and can find common ground even in the most challenging situations.
We would love if you also have:
Technical proficiency and hands-on experience with coding.
Experience with project management tools (e.g. Trello or JIRA).
Knowledge about Scrum and other Agile ways of working
Strong presentation and facilitation skills
Customer-centric mindset and problem-solving attitude.
Experience leading teams remotely and on-site.
Valid Swedish work permit
Or able to obtain one with the offered terms of employment
Ability to be physically present in Malmö as needed.
Flexible work-life balance but the ability to work from the office when needed.
Full professional proficiency in English
Proficiency in Swedish is a plus
