Job description:

  • Administer INNIO’s data council. Drive agenda and content, prepare decision needs and escalations
  • Profile data, detect data quality issues, and collaborate with data owners to identify root causes, solutions and validation rules
  • Empower data owners with tools and expertise on data quality scorecards, alerts, and notifications
  • Support data owners in definition and maintenance of processes, policies, procedures, roles and responsibilities for their respective domain. Regularly review for completeness and accuracy
  • Support during audits and in resolution of findings
  • Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for sustainable analytics. Help business users maintain the data catalog for standardized definition of attributes and validation rules
  • Perform impact and lineage analysis to understand the effects of system & process changes
  • Recommend automation opportunities to business users to improve data quality
  • Continuously improve the components of data landscape to increase sustainability and create/maintain related documentation
  • Take proactive/preventive actions to mitigate data security risks
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business and Engineering, Computer Science or Informatics or similar
  • Very good work experience in relevant field or comparable positions
  • Sharp quantitative, analytical, and problem resolution skills
  • Solid understanding of methodologies, technologies, and best practices in data governance concepts like data architecture, data modeling, data security, data integration, reference and master data management, data warehousing, metadata management, and data quality
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to work in cross functional teams and to build sustainable professional relationships
  • Exposure to MDM tools like Ataccama, Tibco EBX, and Informatica MDM
  • Certification in Data Analysis (CDMP, DGSP, etc.) would be a bonus
  • Ability to conduct business in English
  • A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)
