Job title: Country Sales Manager
Job description: The Country Sales Manager will prospect, generate and close sales leads in Germany, to help materialize solar thermal project revenue (solar panels and associated services) for the company, directly with end clients or partners in Germany (country wide)
Our primary focus is on District Heating networks, but also in Process Industries such as: Food and Beverage, Pharma and Chemical, Textile, and also Automotive. Generally speaking, all Industries using heat between 60 and 180°C.
The candiate will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and adapting the sales strategy for his/her Region.
Candidate must have experience in the District Heating sector, with knowledge of the client/partner eco system. Good understanding of Gov/Private incentives at national and regional levels is very useful, as well as CO2 related matters.
Close existing opportunities and meet revenue targets
Generate a strong funnel of meaningful and viable projects
Engage with key District Heating ecosystem players “Sale With” or “Sale Through” motion, via both direct and Partner channels
Find and reply to any bids or tenders in the District Heating or Industrial Process Heat domains
Track and report all sales activities
Understand and engage with all relevant stakeholders (Gov, installers, regulators, EPC, O&M, etc.) within the ecosystem around our core technologies
Execute market analysis
Ownership of the regional Business plan and its execution
Experienced Technical sales/mgr leader
Experience generating and maintaining relationships with sales leads
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
Preparation of tendering/pre-qualification documents
Experienced in complex sales cycle including Financial acumen, such as ROI, LCOE…
Sales goal-driven with a pragmatic approach to problem solving
Complete focus on results, strong professional attitude.
Quick learner, independent and self-motivated
Natural abilities in exploiting and building trusted professional relationships.
At least 10 years of sales experience, with proven track record in technical sales for District Heating system.
Experience in thermal plant sales, for an EPC or machine manufacturer, is a strong plus
Bachelor/Master in Thermal/Mechanical Engineering, with excellent background in thermodynamics
Sales and Marketing Education (e.g. Sales and Marketing training programs, MBA) is a plus
Languages: Native German, English
