Our solution is brought to new and existing schools worldwide through our Nordic Baccalaureate curriculum, pedagogy, and Smart Learning Platform.

We also provide professional development and school improvement services that transform learning and are designed to support each school with self-review, collaboration, innovation, and strategic development planning. Our key markets are India, MENA, and Southeast Asia. To drive our company strategy and operations to the next level, we are now looking for a successor to our current COO:

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (COO)

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Driving strategy and management processes
  • Managing funding projects from the application stage to reporting
  • Overseeing the global project management and delivery function
  • Global client project delivery strategy and resourcing to ensure scalable and sustainable delivery model
  • Client project delivery process development together with education specialists to ensure sustainable, client-friendly, and profitable business model
  • Client project oversight (regional project managers reporting), P&L, risk management, and issue resolution point
  • In the beginning, managing some of the global client projects and acting as an expert resource in projects to conduct feasibility evaluations and business planning workshops for the clients.
  • Managing company legal, finance, HR, and administration with chosen service providers
  • Bridging functions and ensuring smooth internal communication

Job requirements

Must haves:

  • Strategic thinking and management skills, ability to work independently and inspire others to ensure we succeed as a team
  • 5+ years of international project management experience in the field of consulting or education, or another relevant field of complex multi-stakeholder projects, acting as project leader comfortable with decision making, issues resolution, and reasoning with clients
  • Ability to solve problems and find a way forward, a common ground between vision and reality, ideal and what’s business-savvy
  • Experience in consulting clients on business and financial plans
  • Experience in developing processes and ways of working
  • Ability to work under stress and tight timelines with a wide range of matters at hand and colleagues to consult, eye for detail, and ability to see the bigger picture and potential consequences of actions we take
  • Customer and business-centric mindset and ability to inspire others (ability to step into customers‘ shoes and help others to see their needs)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (our company language) and comfortable in facilitating workshops in English
  • Fluency in contractual language and numbers
  • Strong belief in our mission, vision, values, and goals
  • Comfortable with a start-up mentality
  • EU nationality or work permit

Good to haves:

  • A university or equivalent advanced degree in business or another relevant field
  • Practical experience in project management tools
  • Experience in a global or multi-regional role and demonstrable cultural awareness and respect for diversity
  • Ability to travel
  • Experience in mindfulness or coaching
