- European Gas Market
- Commodity Trading, your working place will be directly on the trading floor
- Interaction and collaboration of trading, market analysis and advanced analytics & AI
- Analysis of gas fundamental data (gas demand, gas supply, gas capacity utilization,…)
- Commodities Market Research
- Definition of best practice standards surrounding data (i.e., data modeling, database design, ETL design, job scheduling and monitoring, etc.Building data pipelines, standardizing, and cleaning data for the group
- Evaluation and improvement of existing quantitative models
- Visualization and reporting of data findings creatively in a variety of visual formats
What we are looking for
- You have strong programming skills with first experiences in coding in Python
- Scripting skills (Python or R) and knowledge of most popular machine learning libraries
- Having first experience with any of the following systems/tools is a plus: Jupyter, Docker
- Proficiency in Relational database engineering (Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL server )
- Design and implement stored procedures and views in MSSQL
- Energetic & enthusiastic about learning in a dynamic environment
- Strong analytic and strategic thinking skills
- You are fluent in English/German
- You are a currently enrolled student
- You hold a valid work permit for Austria
