Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:In this position, you will get to:Facilitate EHS program objectives by providing clear and continuous direction to the staff.Utilize existing proactive safety tools & deploy improvements as needed.Manage environmental processes to ensure company and regulatory requirements are met in relation to hazardous/special waste management, water discharge & air permitting obligations.Monitor EHS state and local regulatory requirements and risk initiatives; analyze potential impacts on system operations; provide operations and executive management information as appropriate.Manage annual EHS budget and monitor progress toward department goals.Coordinate and engage plant personnel and other personnel in the identification, development and implementation of EHS goals which will positively impact and add value to the organization.Facilitate required EHS training to ensure all regulatory and company obligations are met.Manage EHS documents, vendor contract and permit administration utilizing appropriate rules.Coordinate behavior based safety and ergonomic improvement activities.Maintain a presence on shopfloor as a coach, observer, trainer and main point of contact for EHS assistance.Manage incident reporting process and participate in incident investigation and root cause analysis as needed.YOU HAVE:A valid RSPP certification valid under Italian regulation.BA or BS degree in Engineering, Science, Safety or Environmental is nice to have.3 to 5 years of progressive experience leading safety and/or environmental management systems.Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting.Fluency in English language.Ability to appropriately interact with regulatory inspectors including accompaniment on inspections and follow-up activities as required.Demonstrated ability to utilize strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with people at all levels within the organization and outside the organization.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Strong presentation and public speaking skills.Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint and other relevant systems.Strong sense of urgency in meeting internal and external customer needs.Ability to effectively plan, direct and coordinate multiple tasks/projects across different departments and cross functional teams while maintaining excellent organizational skills.Ability to build and maintain effective work relationships at all levels both internally and externally.Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstance and have the ability to thrive in a constantly changing business environment.WE HAVE:
